License terms explained
Last updated August 27, 2026
Every product page uses the same license vocabulary. This page defines each field so you know exactly what you're buying.
License type
Retail licenses are bound to you rather than one machine, so they can usually be moved to new hardware. OEM licenses are tied to the first device they activate on. Subscription licenses run for a fixed term and renew separately.
Device count
The number of simultaneous installations covered. A 3-device security license covers three machines at once; removing a device frees a slot.
Duration
Perpetual means the version you buy does not expire. A term such as 1 year means protection or access ends on that date unless renewed.
Region
Some licenses activate globally, others only in a specific region. Every product page lists its region field explicitly, and we deliver US-eligible licenses for the US market.
Delivery and activation
Licenses are delivered digitally to your account after payment is confirmed. Install the software from the publisher's official download page, then activate with your key — step-by-step instructions are on each product page and in your account.
